The sight is awe-inspiring, especially when the first rays of sunlight fall on the red and cream-colored facade. One of the most moving aspects of my visit was standing at the bathing ghat beside the Hooghly River. Watching devotees take holy dips, I felt an incredible connection with the spiritual traditions that have lived on here for generations. This is also where Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, the revered saint, lived and worshipped, adding layers of spiritual significance to the temple.
