The Elegance of Geometric Lines and the Pride of a Thai Hotel Brand The Central Embassy of Hotels 1. "This is the house of golden sands that I long to visit..." If the golden sands mansion of Mom Phanraya were as beautiful as Centara Reserve, I would definitely compete with Pojaman to claim it. 2. Before visiting, I did my homework. Having stayed at Grand Centara Hua Hin for several months in various suite rooms, I liked it and thought this one might be slightly better. But that wasn’t enough. I found it to be excellent in many aspects and believe it could rival MO, Peninsula, Four Seasons, Firmdale, Rosewood, or Rocco Forte. 3. When the hotel’s limo (CLA) arrived at the lobby, it felt like entering a grand mansion of a friend in Bel Air or Hampton. Clean, beautifully designed, spacious, and airy, with natural light blending harmoniously from the sky, water surfaces, and grassy fields. Tall circular columns reaching the sky create a majestic atmosphere reminiscent of a cathedral. Nearby, you can see a Thai pavilion and turquoise sea. The predominant white color is enriched with depth through large furniture pieces, flowers, and ceiling chandeliers. The columns, walls, and tables are varied in design, making it a perfect place to relax and admire. Modern Thai floral patterns are incorporated into the details, such as decorative lights, tables, and vases, showcasing clever craftsmanship. Check-in was very quick, with elegant and polite service. The welcome drink was delicious and beautifully presented. Luggage arrived in the room before I even walked there. 4. The hotel features designs by AvroKo in several areas. This company is known for decorating top-tier restaurants and bars, such as those at Rosewood, Waldorf Astoria, and Park Hyatt, as well as the stunning Chinese restaurant at Rosewood Bangkok. 5. With only 180 rooms spread across 21 acres, the hotel boasts a 210-meter-wide beachfront at Chaweng. No matter where you are in the hotel, the most beautiful beach in Samui is just a few steps away. The property is wide but not deep, featuring six restaurants and bars, along with two large saltwater marble pools by the sea. There are grassy lawns, playgrounds, and fun fountains for kids, as well as numerous spots for relaxation. Every area is beautiful, peaceful, and fulfilling—not just designed for Instagram-worthy photos but truly crafted to provide genuine satisfaction for guests. Shaded seating areas, hammocks, and lounging spots are scattered throughout. The infinity pool is stunning and left a lasting impression. 6. Restaurants and Breakfast - The hotel offers all-day dining, a Beach Club, a Pool Bar, fine dining Thai cuisine, fine dining Western cuisine, and a beautifully designed drink bar. Each restaurant is elegantly decorated with a minimalist yet impactful style, harmonizing elements like lighting, ceilings, tablecloths, and even cutlery. While the shapes are similar, the colors and materials vary. The fine dining Thai restaurant serves delicious, modern dishes with authentic Thai flavors. The restaurant is beautiful, with excellent service and an Art Nouveau vibe. The drink bar at the lobby is stunningly decorated in an Art Deco style. The Beach Club offers Mediterranean seafood and feels like dining in Greece. Breakfast presentation is exquisite, with a diverse buffet line. Pastries are particularly delicious, and there are Thai snacks wrapped in banana leaves for an exotic touch. Additionally, there’s an à la carte menu for extra options. However, champagne is missing and should be included. 7. Rooms - I stayed in a pool access room adjacent to the pool, with views of the lawn and sea, close to the restaurant and infinity pool. The room isn’t spacious, at just 48 sqm, and lacks a bathtub. However, the decor is stunning, featuring rose gold collections in metallic elements like lights, handles, wall plaques, and even small details like door stoppers and paper towel holders—all in rose gold. The geometric patterns are cleverly reused in various items, showcasing perfect attention to detail. The room includes a mini bar with complimentary gin, vodka, and whiskey. 8. Beach - The beach is beautiful, clean, peaceful, and the best in Samui. It’s perfect for swimming and walking. Conclusion: Starting at over 10,000 THB per night during low season weekdays, it’s pricier than other places (excluding villas and pool villas). However, it’s exceptionally good, exceeding expectations. I would definitely return. 10/10.
