Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks

My girlfriend and I recently visited the Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks in Koh Samui, and we had a great time. The rocks are located on the east coast of the island, and they are known for their unusual shapes, which resemble male and female which is why the Thai call them the grandfather and grandmother rocks (cause of course rocks are super old and has always been there!) I was a little hesitant to visit the rocks at first, but I'm glad I did. They are actually quite beautiful, and they are a popular tourist destination. There is a small shrine located near the rocks, and there are also a few souvenir shops selling trinkets and souvenirs which I highly recommend looking at! Please, you must especially try the local desert/snack there called Kalamea! You won’t be able to find it again and I promise you will love it. I would recommend visiting the Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks if you are in Koh Samui. They are a unique and interesting sight, and they are sure to make you laugh. Here are some tips for your visit: Be respectful of the rocks and the shrine.
