Accommodation review on Koh Phayam This trip, we stayed at the Blue Sky Resort. There are 4 accommodation zones to choose from: - Villa Seaview This room is located on the beachfront and is a 2-storey wooden house. - Villa Lagoon This room is located on the riverside, which is a mangrove forest. The house looks like the first zone. - Villa Zone R and Zone L The house looks the same on the mangrove forest side, but Zone R has stairs that lead directly down to the water. On this trip, we stayed in Zone R. The room rate is 3,999 baht per night, with an additional 1,000 baht. Up to 2 additional guests can be added. The period we went was during the monsoon season, so the atmosphere was a bit gloomy. The recommended period is October-April. It stops raining on the Andaman coast. However, we are not sure about the price difference. When the water recedes, the water in the mangrove forest will be black and you can see the sand like in the first pictures. However, when we returned, the water was high and the sun was out. The water was green like in the last pictures. The photos were beautiful. My sister said it was a sinful trip. In conclusion, it was a very impressive place to stay, but don't come during the same period as us. The staff provided excellent service. There are many places to visit on the island, but I didn't go anywhere because it rained all the time. They have motorcycles for rent. 200 baht each, petrol is 50 baht per bottle. To get to the island, take a speedboat, round trip 700 baht. You can ask the hotel to book it for you. During the rainy season, they provide raincoats, no need to buy them. If I were to recommend staying for 3 days and 2 nights, that would be ideal. If anyone wants to go scuba diving, there is also a place where you can go scuba diving on the Burmese side.
