[Kochi] Walk and eat in Kochi! One-day sightseeing course

#DomesticTravelRecord I took a highway bus to Kochi Prefecture♪ I got off at the Harimayabashi stop. First, I headed to Hirome Market to fill my stomach. I strolled along the large shopping street for about 15 minutes. I could see the Hirome Market sign. When I passed through the vinyl sheet curtain at the entrance, I found a lively space. It had the atmosphere of a food court with many izakayas. We visited on a weekday afternoon, but the seats were full of customers and everyone was enjoying themselves by sharing tables. There were also many tourists from overseas, and everyone seemed to be enjoying eating and drinking. The seared bonito, a specialty of Kochi, was served in a boat-shaped platter, which was interesting! It had no odor and was very delicious. And the fried moray eel was crispy and went well with beer (lol) Of course, the fatty tuna nigiri was also delicious! I also had some chewy udon noodles to finish off the meal. After filling our stomachs, we headed to our next destination, Kochi Castle. It's less than five minutes away from the market. We slowly climbed the stairs to the castle while taking photos. We took off our shoes at the entrance and put them in the shoebox. We paid the 420 yen admission fee and headed inside! We walked through the airy tatami living room. We could already see a nice view. We climbed the steep stairs that are common in castles and reached the castle tower on the top floor. The castle tower has terraces on all four sides, so you can walk around it! You can see the whole city of Kochi, but if you're scared of heights, be careful. It's pretty scary (lol) We spent 2-3 hours just at Kochi Castle!
