Day 1: Encounter with Art In the early morning, I took a ride to the Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art. This building, constructed on a hillside, exudes a sculptural grandeur. Upon entering, I was greeted by the high-ceilinged design of the lobby and the large windows offering a panoramic view of the city below, filling me with a sense of awe. I immersed myself in the works of local and international artists on display, from paintings to sculptures, each piece radiating a unique charm in the interplay of light and shadow. The contemporary exhibition area was particularly captivating, with its creative and thought-provoking pieces inspiring a new understanding of life. In the afternoon, I sat in the small garden outside the museum, basking in the gentle sunlight and experiencing the perfect blend of art and nature. Day 2: Dialogue Between Culture and the City On the second day, I explored the city area near the museum, seeking the connection between the city and art. The street installations and architectural designs in Kitakyushu showcased the city's cultural sophistication. I stopped at a small café, flipping through a magazine introducing local art events, and discovered that Kitakyushu is not just an industrial city but also one with a rich cultural heritage. In the evening, I returned to the Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art to enjoy the sunset view, where the sky and the building intertwined to create an unparalleled masterpiece.
