Gofuso Garden

#cherryblossom2024 This is a gorgeous gardens of the historical Kishiwada structure which is an absolute must-see place. After the Meiji reformation at the turn of the last century, local magnate Rikichi Terads spent 10 years from 1929 constructing this residence at the site of the Shin-Gochaya teahouse of the Okabe Clan, former lords of Kishiwada Castle. Later on, in 1950, it was rechristened Gofuso, "Home of Five Winds". This property includes the gorgeous main residence, three tea houses and a Japanese kaiyu-shiki (Promenade - style ) garden. It is a nice place to have a stroll especially in autumn. The location is 596-0073 18-1 Kishikicho, Kishiwada-shi, Osaka.
