You can contact the Tung Bua Tong Forest Park office for accommodations before reaching the end of the picture. 🛵 There are 2 routes to travel to the wild sunflower fields. If coming from Mueang District, Mae Hong Son, the first route is to turn left onto Surin Waterfall - Tung Bua Tong. I'm not sure how long it takes to travel on this route, but there will be signs every 200-300 meters before the entrance. The second route is to turn left at the welcome sign for Khun Yuam District. The distance is about 90 kilometers and it takes about 1 hour and 50 minutes. 🚙 If traveling from Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province, the distance is about 220 kilometers and it takes about 5 hours by private car. This route will turn right at the welcome sign for Khun Yuam District. 🎠 Tourists don't have to worry about getting lost when driving into Mae Hong Son Province. Almost every route will have a sign showing the distance to the Tung Bua Tong field. But the most important thing to watch out for while traveling is the danger of the road. Because the road is winding along the mountains almost all the way. And when you get close to the Tung Bua Tong field, the road will narrow because it is a village entrance.
