Adventure at Khao Yai National Park

We engaged a tour guide who picked us up at our hotel at Pak Chong. It was a cooling ride in his pick up to Khao Yai National Park. We started off spotting some animals/birds such as hornbill, gibbon etc. The most exciting was chasing after elephant. We were lucky to spot a wild elephant hunting for food. Next, we started our 2 hours hike to look for other animals/birds/insects. We saw a viper camouflage with the trees around it. Our last adventure was the highlight of the day - night safari. We were drove around with a park ranger shining with his special lamp at animals. We spotted porcupine, gaur, sambar deer etc! It was indeed an exciting adventure spotting wild animals.
