Quaint airport

Trat airport is small but quite quaint. From checkin counters to security checks to waiting hall and arrival area are all uniquely Thai. There is no air conditioning in all the areas but the high ceiling and windowless allow constant breeze airing out the area. It actually is very comfortable with the breeze. There is a restaurant (only air conditioned area) and a small shop for drinks and snacks. There is a counter by BIR to arrange transport to Koh Chang. In addition there are songtiao drivers seeking one way businesses.
