Chanthaburi

Khao Khitchakut is located in Chanthaburi Province. It is a sacred place with a footprint of the Lord Buddha on the mountaintop. It is open for worship once a year during the Buddha's Footprint Worship Festival (around January-March). Tourists and pilgrims like to travel here to ask for blessings for good fortune. To travel up the mountain, you must use a four-wheel drive vehicle and walk up a steep path, a total distance of about 5-6 kilometers. But the atmosphere along the way is full of beautiful nature. At the top, there is a viewpoint where you can see the scenery of Chanthaburi as far as the eye can see.
