Badouzi, Keelung is a treasure area. The "Taiwan Leveling Origin" is the benchmark point for calculating the altitude of various places. It is located in Badouzi. The altitude is calculated from the sea level, but the sea level will change due to factors such as tides, wind and waves. For the convenience of measurement, a benchmark point is set up, which is the leveling origin (the average sea level of Keelung Port is used as the reference height). Pinglang Bridge, also known as Rainbow Bridge, has a beautiful view of the fishing port on one side and the sea on the other. It is the gate of the fishing port across Changtanli Fishing Port, and fishing boats in the harbor will enter and exit through the rectangular doorway under the bridge. The "Changtanli Fishing Port Intertidal Zone" is just under the Pinglang Bridge. There are stairs on the bridge that lead down to the beach and the sea erosion platform. The sea erosion platform is only visible after low tide, and you can also explore the intertidal zone creatures, but remember to check the tide time in advance to avoid disappointment.
