Keelung Heping Island - A Symphony of History, Culture, and Nature.

During the New Year holiday, I visited Heping Island in Keelung with my family. This place is not only the northernmost coastal secret of Taiwan but also a cultural treasure with a century-old history. As early as the 17th century, the Dutch established Fort San Salvador here, leaving many historical traces. Today, Heping Island is not only a treasure trove of natural landscapes but also full of creative and artistic atmosphere. Walking along the coastal trail, the unique sea-eroded landforms resemble natural sculptures, with each rock telling the story of a thousand years of sea breeze. The park also features rich installation art, creative shops, and unique cafes, allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery while experiencing the unique cultural atmosphere of Heping Island. Children explore small creatures in the intertidal zone, while we enjoy the sea breeze on the observation deck, looking out at the vast ocean, feeling full of happiness. This trip not only brought beautiful scenery but also a sense of the integration of people and nature, history, and modernity.
