Heping Island Geopark: Strange Rocks and Stones

#Taipei Attractions Heping Island Geopark is composed of special geological landscapes such as sea erosion platforms, weathering windows, and mushroom rocks. Walking on the sea erosion platform, you will see ever-changing rock textures under your feet, as if you are walking on the surface of the moon. The most eye-catching are the mushroom-shaped rocks of various shapes. After years of weathering and wave erosion, many strange shapes have been formed, like giant mushrooms standing on the seashore. The intertidal zone is also very rich in ecology, and various marine creatures such as starfish and crabs can be seen at low tide. At sunset, the setting sun shines on the strange rocks, and the scenery is particularly moving.
