Have fun at Iwagaike Park in Kariya Highway Oasis!

On the way back from visiting Shizuoka, we stopped at Kariya Highway Oasis, a service area on the highway. This SA can be accessed not only from the highway, but also from regular roads. So you don't have to take the highway to get there! There are many restaurants and many shops where you can buy local products. We had a toddler and an elementary school student with us, so we visited Iwagaike Park, which had the playground equipment we were looking for. In addition to the park, there is also a small amusement park! What's more, all the rides were surprisingly cheap at 100 yen each (lol). If you go all the way to the back, you'll find rides with characters from old game centers! And they're cheap, 50 yen each. If you get tired from playing and shopping, we recommend washing off the sweat at Kakitsubata Natural Hot Springs.
