On the second night, there's a viewing platform for Mount Gongga nearby, but you need to hike up yourself, and there's a CNY 10 garbage disposal fee. Those susceptible to altitude sickness should bring plenty of oxygen. *Tips: Gas stations are scarce along the way. It's recommended to fill up your tank in Kangding.
