Everyone usually likes to travel to Western Sichuan in spring, summer, and autumn. In spring, the mountains are full of flowers, in autumn, the forests are dyed in layers, and in summer, the greenery is everywhere. It seems that these are indeed the best times to travel to Western Sichuan. But who says winter in Western Sichuan is not fun? I am the first to disagree! Compared to the frequent rains in summer, winter in Western Sichuan is much drier. Although the grass and trees are withered, it is indeed the best time to appreciate the snow-capped mountains. In other seasons, seeing the full view of snow-capped mountains like Gongga, Yala, and Siguniangshan may require some luck, but in winter, the chances of appreciating their beauty are much higher. ▫️ Last weekend, we went from Chengdu to Kangding and discovered a small and beautiful village, Longgu Er Village. 🚗Journey: Self-driving from Chengdu, navigate to "Longgu Er Village", the whole journey takes about 5 hours 🏨Accommodation: It is recommended to stay in Kangding for one night, and then set off from Kangding to Longgu Er Village early the next morning ❤️This village is not far from Tagong Town, with an altitude of about 4500m. Friends who are prone to altitude sickness should remember to bring oxygen. ❤️The whole village is very quiet, almost no tourists can be seen. During our visit, there were only our two cars, and we didn't encounter any other visitors. Many angles in the village face Yala Snow Mountain directly. Using a telephoto lens to take pictures, the sense of oppression from the snow-capped mountain is very strong and very shocking. ❤️There are yaks everywhere on the mountains in the village, as well as many sheep and horses. When you come to visit, please be careful not to disturb the lives of the locals and animals. ❤️There is a small creek in the village, and the winding stream has completely frozen in winter. We went down to step on it and felt it was very solid. So if you want to skate on the creek, this is also a good choice. ❤️There are many open spaces by the creek, which are very suitable for camping. However, because it is dry this season, please do not use any open flames when camping, and be sure to camp without a trace, remembering to take away all the garbage. ❤️If you go further from Longgu Er Village, you will reach Qishan Qihu.
