New Dukang is a magical photography paradise, located at the junction of the north and south forks of National Highway 318. It is the essential route from Tibet to Kangding, connecting Ganzi in the north and Litang in the south. It is kilometers away from Chengdu and 80 kilometers away from Kangding city. On the way, you will cross the Zheduo Mountain with an altitude of over 4300 meters, and gaze upon Mount Gongga, the king of Shu mountains. It is a poetic Shangri-La, with the beautiful and open scenery of the western Sichuan plain. New Dukang, the enchanting 'world of light and shadow', 'paradise for photographers'. New Dukang, also known as Dongnuo, is a town name, not a scenic area. Along the New Dukang line, there is a 'Photographers' Corridor' that stretches for more than 10 kilometers.
