You must visit Xinduqiao at least once in your lifetime!

I went there in the autumn of 2022, and the locals said that the autumn of 2022 had the most leaves and was the most beautiful in recent years at Xinduqiao. I was so lucky to have captured these moments! The most beautiful time is around mid to late October each year. Precautions: 🏔️ Altitude: The altitude is over 3000 meters, so those who are prone to altitude sickness should bring oxygen bottles. ⛅️ Climate: It's very dry, and after staying for two days, your nose will become very dry and may even bleed, so it's essential to drink plenty of water. It's best to bring a self-heating thermos cup, as the temperature is very low in the morning and evening. If you go in October, it's best to bring a down jacket, as it may suddenly rain, so it's also a good idea to bring an umbrella. 🚗 Transportation: We drove a Tesla Model 3 there. Both Kangding and Xinduqiao have superchargers, which is very convenient. Make sure to fully charge the car when leaving Chengdu, and top up the charge in Tianquan, and you should have no problems. You don't need to charge on the way down the mountain, as regenerative braking will allow you to drive a hundred kilometers without losing much battery life. ⛰️ Scenery along the way: We took National Highway 248, which has better scenery than Zheduo Mountain. You can take Zheduo Mountain on the way back. The Tesla can handle it, but there are many curves and large vehicles, so it's not recommended for novice drivers.
