Mugecuo Lake Scenic Area, Kangding 🇨🇳

What a stunning sight to behold. After an hour drive from Kangding center to its entrance and another 30 minutes bus ride to the top we reached one of Kangding's treasue - The Mugecuo Lake. It sits in an altitude of almost 4000m above sea level so coming here was a bit of a struggle for me especially when we reached the top. Getting There - I suggest to speak to your hostel/hotel to book you a car to the entrace of Mugecuo lake. No worries because, you will be booked for a return journey so you don't have to book another car that will take you back to your hotel. For the round trip cost, you will oay around 159-200. Entrance Fee+Bus ride : 200 per person ‼️TIPS and Warnings 1. DO not come to this place on the same day or the next day upon arrival in Kangding. Acclimitize yourself first in the city then head up. If you're under the weather like me and you don't exercise then the altitude sickness will really strike you. If you're healthy then probably you will be ok. Just listen to your body. 2. Headache, dizziness, fast heartbeat and wanting to puke are signs of altitude sickness 3. Purchase an oxygen bottle Despite my awful altitude sickness, I still appreciate the beauty that Mugecuo Lake possesses.
