Worship the Buddha statue of Kamphaeng Phet

#triptravelchina 🧱Wat Ku Yang, a third-class royal temple. There is no evidence of its construction or history. Only the base of the ordination hall and the old principal Buddha image pedestal made of laterite were found, located on the northern side of the temple. 🏞The reason it is called Wat Ku Yang is because the Yang people (Karen) came to renovate this ancient temple and dug a moat around it. 🏠During the reign of King Rama V, 1851-1856, a new temple was built at the original location. Important and interesting things in the temple include: 🏠 The ordination hall enshrines the principal Buddha image, Phra Phuttha Wachiraprakarn, which means the Buddha image of Kamphaeng Phet. 🏕 The Tripitaka Hall in the middle of the water is a local Kamphaeng Phet Thai-style building made of wood with a tiled roof and a high foundation, located in the middle of the original moat to prevent insects. Currently, the Tripitaka Hall contains antiques.
