The origin of the amulet Phra Kamphaeng Samkha

#tripพาบินเที่ยวจีน 🙏Wat Sadet, an ancient temple with no evidence of its construction or history, used to be the storage place for the inscription of the Buddha's footprint at Wat Sadet, pillar 52, which is a metal footprint-shaped plate with an inscription in Sukhothai Khmer script. It is currently enshrined at the National Museum in Bangkok. 🌄In 1906, King Rama V visited Kamphaeng Phet with Somdet Phutthachan (To) Phrommarangsi of Wat Rakhang. He also visited this temple. The important and interesting things in the temple include: 🙏A replica of the Buddha's footprint is enshrined in the pavilion. 🙏Amulet "Phra Kamphaeng Sam Kha" is a beautiful Buddha image unique to Kamphaeng Phet. The pedestal on which the Buddha image sits has three legs, two in the front and one in the back, totaling three legs. Kamphaeng Phet people believe that it has the power of escaping danger and bringing great mercy and popularity. 🏠The temple, the chapel, and the sala enshrine many ancient Buddha images. 🙏The temple has a tradition “Making merit on the full moon day of the 3rd month” means making merit, paying homage to the replica of the Buddha’s footprint at Wat Sadet and paying homage to the relics of the Lord Buddha at Wat Phra Borommathat Nakhon Chum at the same time.
