The Ikisu Shrine 息栖神社

The Ikisu Shrine is a shrine that dates back to ancient times, reaching as far as the starting point of Japan's history. Along with Katori Shrine and Kashima Shrine, which are located nearby, it is collectively known as the "Tougoku-3 Shrines" or the "Three Great Shrines of the Eastern Region." It is said that if you visit all three shrines, you will receive blessings and benefits.
