Be sure to go in the morning! You will be asked to leave by 18:00. There are currently two hiking routes open. After entering, the left is the Yuhu Line (East Holy Lake), and the right is the Tonghu Line (West Holy Lake). 🔹Yuhu: You can only reach the glacier in winter when the lake is frozen. In other seasons, you can only see the glacier across the lake. The hiking difficulty is moderate, and the time is short, about 2–3 hours round trip. 🔹Tonghu: In summer, you can hike along the right side of the lake to the foot of the glacier, only a few meters away from the ice wall. The hiking distance is long, and the lake is over 5,200m above sea level, with a small climb, about 4 hours round trip. ⚠️Notes: -Apply for a border pass in advance -There are no toilets after the border station, so go in advance -Prepare oxygen, water, and snacks -No drones allowed, drones must be stored at the border station -Return to the border station to collect your driving license and drone by 18:30 (times may vary, please ask the border station staff for details). If you are late, you will have to collect them the next day. -Bring crampons for the frozen lake in winter -It is said that the wind is not strong in the morning, so you can go early.
