This magnificent fort is an iconic presence in Jodhpur, a city in the Indian state of Rajasthan known as the "Blue City" for its blue houses. When you go inside, you can get a good view of the Blue City! Meherangarh Fort is characterized by its grand scale and beautiful carvings. It also houses a palace and a museum, making it a popular tourist spot. It is said that the architecture and atmosphere that appears in the "Kingdom of Sand Alabasta" in the Alabasta arc of "One Piece" may have been inspired by this fort. The museum also has speakers that speak Japanese. You can understand the contents well even without a guide! If you don't go early, the ticket booth will be extremely crowded. Early in the morning is the best time to go! There is also a zip line. It was about 3,000 yen for 6 courses. I highly recommend it!
