The last stop in Jiyuan was Fengxian Temple, which is also one of the important cultural landmarks in the area and is now a national key cultural relic protection unit. Fengxian Temple was first built in the first year of the Tang Dynasty, and was expanded and repaired during the Song and Jin Dynasties, reaching its peak, and there are records of repairs in later dynasties. The Sanqing Hall was rebuilt during the Jin Dynasty and is a typical example of the wooden structure of the Jin Dynasty, with a wide interior space, simple and rough beams and columns, and a compact and stable structure. The temple also has ancient buildings such as the Mountain Gate (Qing) and the Jade Emperor Hall (Ming). The stele section, the Taishang Laojun Stone Statue Stele, was erected in the first year of the Tang Dynasty, recording the merits and demerits of the emperors of the past dynasties, praising the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty, and the Qing Dynasty epigrapher Ye Changchi praised this stele as "the article is magnificent, the calligraphy is beautiful, and it is the crown of the Taoist steles of the Tang Dynasty." The Taoist temple is open to the public for free, with Taoist priests stationed there for practice, and the overall scale is not very large, with many attractions, located in the city of Jiyuan, convenient transportation, and recommended to visit if you have time.
