Wilderness hiking: Surrounding Qinlong Gorge

Different types of exchange appear to be conserved. The Qin River, which originates in Pingyao, turns nearly 180 degrees in the southern Taihang Mountains, forming a large circular bay. Its downstream end is the Hekou Village Reservoir in Jiyuan. The route on the left side of Qin River is relatively flat. The hike really begins after crossing the Qin River. Picture 3 is the last madness of the circular route. The descent of about 10 meters is almost vertical. At this time, the toes are trembling, as if grabbing a straw, and the hands tightly grasping the rock cause a dull pain in the pectoralis major muscles... Fortunately, there are no more dangerous places in the subsequent journey, and the natural beauty is in full view. This was my first time to go hiking in the wild. The tour leader introduced that the hiking difficulty levels were as follows: seeing the mountain, facing the mountain, searching for the mountain, and looking at the mountain. This time, the difficulty level was searching for the mountain. When hiking in the wild, climbing and descending are the most challenging to your physical fitness, especially your muscles and anaerobic capacity. The flatland walkers are just a makeshift team when it comes to climbing and descending. The elevated steps and several unlit tunnels on the left side of the Qin River are basically unobstructed. To cross the Qin River, one needs to climb onto the Monkey Bridge before people can be ferried across it. The route on the right is the real hike. The narrow plank road, with no steps to go up or down, pushes one's will and exhausts one's physical energy. A young man behind him lamented: I will never overestimate myself again. In fact, I have silently forgiven myself many times. Even though it is a wild line, the mountain path is hidden among the thorns. Occasionally, bees can be seen roosting, but the beekeeper is nowhere to be seen. I walked along the way and had no time to enjoy the scenery. Only after rappelling ten meters can you feel calm. The gentle blue Qin River is graceful among the mountains. My friend is in excellent physical condition, it’s great to be young. Looking back and far away, after playing all in, the scenery is already behind you.
