Grilled Insects experience in ancient village

Dehang Village was a unique experience. Even though it was rainy when I visited, it still felt magical—plus, there were hardly any tourists, so it was peaceful and quiet. The village is surrounded by beautiful mountains and has a really authentic, calm vibe. One fun thing: I tried my first insect ever here! I'm not a 100% sure but if I understood the old vendor lady correctly- it was a grilled dragonfly's caterpillar. I did not know what to expect honestly but I actually liked it! I really enjoyed the old traditional architecture in Dehang. The wooden houses and narrow alleys made me feel like I had stepped back in time. It was so nice to see a place that has kept its authentic charm over the years. #asiatrip #china
