His hometown Hechuan has many factories, as well as a French Catholic church built in 1904. The mixed space of Huangjueping, with Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, power plant, railway, and inland port. Then to Beijing, where the forest of overpasses provided a new spatial experience. / I am curious why there is an abstract color treatment in the middle of the triptych in the auditorium? / Zhang Xiaotao: "I feel the need for a blank space, to pause in the middle, like a black screen in a movie.
