Tongling Grand Canyon

Tongling Grand Canyon features mountains, water, and caves. The trail includes numerous stairs, and the path can be slippery, so you need to walk carefully. Along the way, colorful lights illuminate the rocks, perhaps to catch your attention—and they certainly caught mine! 😂 As you venture deeper, you'll encounter a crystal-clear stream. On a scorching day like the Dragon Boat Festival, stepping into the cool water feels like pure salvation. Continuing forward, you'll reach Tongling Waterfall. No matter the angle, the view is absolutely breathtaking. With a drop of 188 meters, this grand waterfall is far more impressive in person than in photos. After admiring the waterfall, we slowly made our way toward the exit. Midway, we noticed a shuttle bus for the return trip, priced at CNY10 per person. We couldn't resist and hopped on. Later, we realized that the return route follows the roadside, which is relatively plain in terms of scenery. Plus, the sun was blazing. If you're feeling a bit tired, I highly recommend taking the shuttle.
