Today, I will share with you a great 3-day itinerary in Southern Anhui that doesn't require any entrance fees. - 3-Day Itinerary in Southern Anhui: Moon Bay in Jing County → Tingxi → Jing-She Ancient Road → East Huangshan Tourist Resort → East Huangshan Tea Plantation → S218 Provincial Highway - Day 1️⃣: Arrival → Moon Bay in Jing County 🚗 After arriving at Moon Bay, find a homestay to settle down. This is a treasure trove of natural scenery and the starting and ending point of the Cai Village section of the Anhui-Tibet Line. It's a great place for taking photos. You can also visit the nearby Waterfall Cafe, which is perfect for taking photos or enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery. - Day 2️⃣: Tingxi → Jing-She Ancient Road → East Huangshan Tourist Resort After breakfast, head towards Jingde to hike the "Jing-She Ancient Road" that was once traveled by Huizhou merchants. This ancient road connects She County in Huangshan and the East Huangshan Shanghai Zhiqing Tea Plantation, and the scenery along the way is breathtaking. It's recommended to bring your own food for lunch. It takes about 5-6 hours to reach the East Huangshan Tourist Resort, and the overall difficulty is not high, with well-maintained roads. In the evening, you can choose to stay at a nearby homestay, and there are also local farm restaurants where you can taste local cuisine. 💡Tips: If you're driving, park your car at the starting point of the Jing-She Ancient Road. After hiking to the resort, contact a local vehicle in advance to return and pick up your car. - Day 3️⃣: East Huangshan Tea Plantation → S218 Provincial Highway → Return In the morning, head from the tea plantation to Huangshan District. Be sure to drive along the "Most Beautiful S218 Provincial Highway," which starts at Tangli Village in Gantang and ends at Yuting Town in Yixian County, with a total length of 78 kilometers. This highway is like a string of pearls, connecting attractions such as the West Sea Grand Canyon in Huangshan, Tujia Camping Ground, Wuxi Mountain Grand Canyon, and famous ancient villages like Lucun, Tachuan, Hongcun, Qishu Lake, and Xidi. Once you reach Yuting Town, you can choose to return. If you have more time, you can continue to visit Tunxi Old Street and Qiyun Mountain.
