Forget Wuzhen! I love this ancient city of Mingshui even more!

Not sure where to go this winter? I highly recommend this place—Mingshui Ancient City in Jinan🏯 The ancient city is super fun both day and night, each with its own unique charm. 🌞Daytime ✅Recommended attractions: Former Residence of Li Qingzhao, Longquan Temple, Meng Family Courtyard, Dyeing Workshop ❣️Special experiences: Baijintang Hanfu Makeup Rumengling DIY Workshop Liaozhai Strange Tales Immersive Theater Experience Boat Tour of the Ancient City 🎭Performances: There are performances at every attraction, and you can find one every few steps. Shadow puppetry, dragon dance, Zhangqiu Bangzi, and more. There are NPCs to interact with. 🌑Nighttime ✅Recommended attractions: Mingshui Street, Confucian Business Street ❣️Special experiences: New Year's Eve Dinner at Ruifuxiang Restaurant River Lantern Blessing Make a Dragon Lantern 🎭Performances: Spring Show, Drone Show, Dashuhua 🥗Food: The ancient town has a variety of snacks and time-honored restaurants. 🏨Accommodation: We stayed at Shuangquan Hotel, but there are also inns to choose from. 🧧Mingshui Ancient City Guo Da Nian ⏰Feb 9–24 🔆Mingshui has a variety of shows, including Intangible Cultural Heritage Iron Show, French Flying Fish Show, Moquan Handwashing Blessing, and various Spring Festival-themed decorations and performances. 🧭Location: Mingshui Ancient City, Zhangqiu, Jinan 🅿️: Plenty of parking spaces, free parking if you stay in the scenic area 🎫: CNY 68, there are also tickets with makeup, free for Zhangqiu locals
