Lingyan Temple, located in Wande Street, Changqing District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, is an important part of the world natural and cultural heritage, Mount Tai. The temple was first built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and rebuilt in the first year of the reign of Emperor Xiaoming of the Northern Wei Dynasty. It reached its peak in the Tang Dynasty and has attractions such as the Pizhi Pagoda and the Thousand Buddha Hall. Lingyan Temple has a rich Buddhist heritage. Since the Tang Dynasty, it has been known as one of the "four famous temples" in the world, along with Qixia Temple in Nanjing, Guoqing Temple in Tiantai, Zhejiang, and Yuquan Temple in Dangyang, Hubei.
