Sancha Lake Ma'anshan Wharf

Chengdu's own Maldives, a 1-hour boat tour of the sea. Absolutely stunning! Just on the other side of Sancha Lake, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Take Metro Line 18 to Sancha Station and transfer, or drive from Chengdu for 1 hour. Be sure to visit the Ma'anshan Observation Deck for a breathtaking view of Sancha Lake! Also explore the boardwalk below, which is windy but not too hot in the summer. The scenic area is free. Daytime boat tours of the lake cost $80 per person, and the circuit takes about 40 minutes. The boats close at 5 PM. There's also a night tour at 7 PM for $100 per person. We dined at a nearby hotel, and the food was delicious. There are also some places to enjoy afternoon tea by the lake, which is very relaxing. Further along, there are some campsites where you can fish. When playing by the lake, please wear sunscreen and supervise your children.
