Jianshui Confucian Temple

The Jianshui Confucian Temple was originally built in the 22nd year of the Yuan Dynasty's Zhiyuan era, and it has a history of more than 700 years. After several expansions and renovations, its current scale, architectural level, and state of preservation are second only to the Confucian Temples in Qufu and Beijing. The Jianshui Confucian Temple was constructed entirely according to the style and regulations of the Qufu Confucian Temple, featuring a symmetrical palace-style layout along the north-south central axis, with multiple individual buildings symmetrically arranged on the east and west sides. The main structures include one pool, two halls, two pavilions, two chambers, three galleries, four gates, five pavilions, five temples, and eight workshops, totaling 37, with 31 of them well-preserved. A ticket must be purchased to visit.
