Jianglang Mountain

Jianglang Mountain Scenic Area is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction located in the southwest of Jiangshan City, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Here is an introduction to the scenic area: Basic Information - Geographic location: Located at the junction of Zhejiang, Fujian, and Jiangxi provinces, 25 km from Jiangshan City. Geographic coordinates: 118°22′-118°49′ E, 28°15′-28°52′ N. - Climate and topography: Subtropical monsoon humid climate, dominated by Danxia landforms formed by purple-red conglomerate strata, in the old age of Danxia landform development. - Honors: Recognized as a scenic area of Zhejiang Province in 1991, approved as a national scenic area in 2002, listed as a World Natural Heritage Site in 2010, and recognized as a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction in 2017. Natural Landscapes - Three Peaks: Langfeng, Yafeng, and Lingfeng are arranged in a "chuan" shape from north to south, with a height of more than 300 meters, resembling stone pillars and sky pillars, and are known as the "First Peak of Shenzhou Danxia." - One Line Sky: Located between Yafeng and Lingfeng, the canyon is about 300 meters high and long, with parallel walls and a distance of 3.5 to 5 meters between them. - Great Man Peak: A naturally formed mountain peak, it looks like the side profile of Deng Xiaoping, with the forest on the top like hair, the protruding curve is the forehead and cheekbones, and the concave part is the eye socket, and the corner is the collar of the Zhongshan suit. - Danxia Red Wall: It belongs to a thick layer of red sandstone and conglomerate. After long-term weathering and water erosion, it forms a steep red sandstone cliff and a strange peak and stone, which is rare. Humanities - Kaiming Temple: Also known as Jianglang Temple, located at the end of "Eighteen Bends," it was first built in the second year of Tianxi in the Northern Song Dynasty. There are more than 120 statues of Bodhisattvas and Buddhas inside, and the incense is very strong. - Jianglang Academy: Located at the northern foot of the three peaks of Jianglang Mountain, it was founded in the late Tang Dynasty and built in the second year of Shenlong in the Tang Dynasty. It is one of the earliest private academies in Chinese history. - Xu Xiake's Journey: Located in Jianglang Mountain Scenic Area, it is located to the east of Lingfeng. It was opened to commemorate Xu Xiake's three visits to Jianglang Mountain. It covers an area of about 800 square meters.
