🏞️Encountering Beauty by Shenlong Lake: A Review of Bainiaotang Fanjingshan Yun She Shenlongtan Hotel I recently visited Fanjingshan and stayed at the Bainiaotang Fanjingshan Yun She Shenlongtan Hotel. This homestay experience was absolutely amazing, and I have to share it with everyone! 📍Location and Surroundings: Prime Location in the Scenic Area The homestay is located next to Shenlong Lake in Yunshe Village, Jiangkou County, a truly prime location. Yunshe Village itself is a charming Tujia village, known as the "No. 1 Tujia Village in China." Shenlong Lake is located on the east side of the village. Its clear water resembles a blue gem, and legend has it that it can even predict the weather—how amazing is that? From the homestay, you can walk around the village, admire the ancient architecture, and experience the Tujia culture. In the evening, you can visit the bonfire square and enjoy the lively atmosphere. It's about a 15-minute drive from Fanjingshan Scenic Area, and the homestay can help arrange transportation, which is very convenient. 🛏️Room Amenities: Cozy and Smart The rooms are all over 40 square meters, spacious and comfortable. They are warmly decorated with soft lighting and bedding, making you feel relaxed as soon as you enter. Smart toilets, mini-fridges, and other amenities are all available, and free spring water is provided—attention to detail is evident. The rooms have large windows, and you can see Shenlong Lake and the surrounding mountains and rivers as soon as you open them. Waking up to sunshine and birdsong is a wonderful feeling. However, if you stay on the first floor, you might occasionally hear footsteps from upstairs, which is a minor drawback. 💁‍♀️Service Experience: Attentive Butler Service The staff is warm and thoughtful, making check-in feel like meeting old friends. The butler will proactively contact you, send check-in reminders and local guides, and help book Fanjingshan tickets and plan your itinerary. They assist with luggage throughout your stay and even deliver desserts in the evening—so thoughtful! The homestay offers basic services such as a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and free parking. There's also a lawn tea house and a children's play area, catering to both relaxation and entertainment needs. 🍱Dining: A Culinary Journey Through Fanjingshan Breakfast features local specialties like guoba noodles, sisi noodles, and Jiangkou rice tofu. The authentic flavors are a delight to the taste buds. If you don't want to eat out, the homestay also offers barbecue and local hot pot with fresh ingredients at reasonable prices. 📸Nearby Photo Spots: Picture-Perfect Opportunities The homestay has a large lawn, a perfect spot for taking photos. In the evening, there are open-air movies and live performances, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Climb to the viewing platform behind the village for a panoramic view of the entire village and Shenlong Lake. The scenery is stunning, and every shot is a masterpiece. Overall, the Bainiaotang Fanjingshan Yun She Shenlongtan Hotel offers a fantastic experience. The only minor downside is the slight noise on the first floor, but it's a small flaw in an otherwise perfect stay. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fanjingshan!
