Jerash, Ancient Roman City in Jordan

#chillandthrill #tropicalretreat Jerash is an ancient city in Jordan inhabited by the Romans more than 6,500 years ago. Was buried under sand until rediscovered and restored in the beginning of 19th century. The time when I was there, it was quiet, beautiful, and not many tourists. Estimated time you will spend to explore the whole site is between 2 to 3 hours. If you buy Jordan Pass, the official tourist package, Jerash is one of the places you can enter free. Jerash can be reached from Amman, the capital city, with 52 kms car trip. There is a bus going from Amman Northern Bus Station but surely taxi will take you faster.
