PAYANGAN BEACH : JEMBER

Jember Regency in East Java Province has the charm of its natural beauty, especially beach tourism. One of the Jember beaches that has a stunning panorama like heaven is in Payangan. Payangan Beach is located in Payangan Hamlet, Sumberrejo Village, Ambulu District. The distance of this beach from Jember City is about 32 kilometers with a travel time of approximately one hour drive. The fastest route to Payangan Beach from Jember is via Jalan Nasional III Jember-Lumajang. After arriving at the Mangli Market intersection, the journey continues to the south entering Jalan Otto Iskandar Dinata. From the Mangli Market intersection, continue following the main road to the south for about 30 kilometers. Later, you will find a road sign to get to Payangan Beach, so just follow the road indicated by the sign. The Payangan Beach area is so wide. There are three parts of the beach that can be visited. The first part is a fishing beach area facing southwest. The next part is a beach with rocks separated by a hill. The widest part is on the north side of the beach with rocks separated again by a small hill. This beach extends to the north then turns to the west. If you walk along it, you will eventually arrive at Watu Ulo Beach. This beach has black sand. However, this does not reduce the beautiful panorama of Payangan Beach. The combination of black sand with blue sea and sky looks so harmonious. The color combination is more harmonious with the green hill grass on the beach and white clouds floating in the sky.
