A Village Worth Stopping By: Dakne Village

Dakne Village is a place that has disappeared, but a stone monument 🪨 has been erected to preserve the memories of that time. Every time I pass by this spot, I find myself stopping to take a photo 📸. It's hard to just walk past without feeling a sense of longing. The spot where clear spring water 💦 used to flow is now covered with green moss 💚, presenting a different appearance from before. It serves as a reminder of the changes in Jeju and evokes a hope for restoration. Additionally, with the construction of the airport, the original residents relocated to other areas, leaving behind only the harbor and the old lighthouse (formerly a beacon tower).
