Jacksons at Jedburgh

#hellohalloween Right in the heart of the Borders, Jacksons at Jedburgh is a lovely working farm that’s become a real favourite for families — especially during its seasonal events. It’s the kind of place that instantly feels welcoming, with open countryside views, friendly staff, and plenty of space for kids to run around and explore. Depending on the time of year, you might find something different happening — from broom making and festive fun to chances to meet the animals up close. There are great photo spots all around the farm, and my kids were big fans of the yellow tractor. There are multiple fields, which are home to cows (Highland!!), sheep, goats and more. You’ll get a bag of animal feed to give to the animals and this was a highlight for my kids who all adored feeding the animals from their wee hands. There is also a garden area with lots of different kids toys and some picnic tables so you can slow down for a bit and fill those tummies. It’s a relaxed, rural day out that keeps things simple — no gimmicks, just a proper farm experience where families can enjoy being outdoors together.
