A Comprehensive Guide to Ghibli Park

Route 🚇 Start from Nagoya city center, take the train to Fujigaoka, transfer to the Limo (Hills) Line, and get off at 'Aichi Earth Expo Memorial Park'. Tickets 🎫 There are three types of tickets: Sanpo Walk Ticket: Some areas are inaccessible ❌ O Sanpo Big Walk Ticket: Access to all areas and the large warehouse✅ but not inside buildings ❌ Premium Ticket: Access to all areas and inside buildings ✅ Tickets can be purchased on the official website, available in Japanese and English. After purchasing in English, print the QR code. Japanese tickets are more available, offering electronic and paper options (electronic tickets require a Japanese phone number, so it's recommended to get paper tickets from Lawson's Loppi machine, available in the park for convenient re-entry checks). The large warehouse entry time needs to be reserved, the earlier, the better! Opening Hours 🕙 Weekdays 10:00-17:00, weekends and holidays 9:00-17:00. Ticket checks stop at 4:00 PM! The large warehouse closes at 4:30 PM, but the park itself remains open, allowing for last-minute photos of exterior scenes. Five Major Areas Recommended Route: - Youth Hill - Large Warehouse - Witch's Valley - Totoro's Forest - Ghost's Village (seeing all in one day is challenging) 🕋 Large Warehouse: Must enter within an hour of the reserved time. It's a square building featuring photo scenes and small exhibitions: famous scene collection (photo with No-Face here, expect a one-hour queue), theater (15-minute unreleased short film), food exhibition from films, Laputa robot, basement Borrowers scene, 2nd floor milk and red bean sandwich shop, Yubaba's gold statue, and shop. It's huge! Detailed scenes! Reserve at least three hours to explore. ⛰️ Youth Hill: Smaller, with three buildings - Earth House, Cat Office, and Entrance Elevator Clock Tower. 🔮 Witch's Valley: The richest area! Includes Howl's Castle 🏰, Witch Kiki's House, Kiki's Delivery Service Bakery 🍞, etc. Kiki's dorm behind the bakery is accessible without a premium ticket! Further along is the Witch's Bookstore, and the Witch's Thirteen Group is a must-buy at the exit! 🌲 Totoro's Forest: Without a premium ticket, it's skippable. If you can't enter Mei's House, a 20-minute hike leads to a large Totoro sculpture for kids, then take the cable car down. The famous 🐱 Cat Bus is at the entrance, ticket machines are near the ⛩️, head to Ghost's Village, pre-purchase fixed-time tickets, 50 each, includes a small card and photo assistance. 👻 Ghost's Village: The most disappointing area, with only two sculptures and a roasted mochi grass hut, can be skipped. Photo Spots: Borrowers' Restaurant is cute! Laputa robot is a huge scene! Many photo opportunities in the famous scene collection! #TravelGuide #Travel #MyTravelDiary #NagoyaTravel #GhibliPark #MiyazakiAnimation #NagoyaGhibliPark
