Complete Guide to Visiting Ghibli Park at Noon

🎫 Ticket Purchase: Book your tickets directly from the official website two months in advance on the 10th at 1 PM. Log in ten minutes early as the website will start a countdown. If you're in the queue with over 10,000 people, keep waiting; I managed to get a premium ticket after waiting for 45 minutes. ⭐ Electronic tickets don't need to be printed. On the day of your visit, open the email to access the QR code, which is required for entry at each attraction. ⭐ The park is quite large, but each activity area isn't very big. Most of the space is greenery, as it's part of the Expo Memorial Park. It's not recommended to visit in summer due to limited shade, but visiting in September was manageable. 💕 The biggest takeaway: I explored many places because photography is not allowed inside many attractions, but you can freely explore. 🕰️ Without considering buying souvenirs, start at Totoro's Forest. ☁️After entering the park at 9:30, don't take the big elevator. Turn left and continue past the Global Citizens Exchange Center to find the bus stop. Take the free bus at 9:40 to Totoro's Forest. Allow 1 hour and buy a ticket for the Totoro bus at 11 AM at the small hut. We planned to take the cable car to the top of the mountain and then go down to Mei's house. Note that the Inari sign is next to the cable car waiting area; take a photo before going up. Otherwise, you'll end up like us, taking the cable car up, walking down to take photos, and then climbing back up. At Mei's house, you can't take photos inside, but you can explore freely. We even saw someone checking Mei's summer homework. ☁️After that, you can take the Totoro bus. The back of the ticket has a hand-drawn map, and staff will help take photos, though the quality varies by driver. The bus stops at Ghost Village, and you can walk to Youth Hill. ☁️Youth Hill isn't very big; 30 minutes is enough. In the Earth House, you can watch the clock chime in the first-floor lobby. Another place to explore. ☁️At 11:45, line up at the entrance of the Great Warehouse, allowing over 3 hours. The first line is for a photo with No-Face, which takes 1 hour. If you're not keen on such attractions, you can skip it. I regretted waiting halfway through. Nearby are various iconic scenes to check out, and don't forget to watch the short film. Finally, shop till you drop; the store is so crowded you can only walk sideways. There's a snack shop at the entrance selling Tokoname milk (sold out) and red bean cakes. You can also have a meal at the restaurant and try a bottle of Witch's Beer. ☁️At 3 PM, head to Witch's Valley for more exploring. Don't miss any house, and finally, visit Howl's Moving Castle. It looks cool from the outside, but the inside is a bit small, so you can explore it quickly. In Howl's room, the staff enthusiastically stamped our hands, which only shows under UV light, saying 'magic~' with great enthusiasm. It's a great experience. ☁️The park closes at 5 PM. The weather was great today, and we left Miyazaki's animated world via the big elevator. #Nagoya #Ghibli #GhibliPark #HayaoMiyazaki #JapanTravelGuide #Totoro #MiyazakisSummer
