Japan's Largest Light Show in Kanto: 6 Million Lights!

The Sagamiko Light Show, a major event recognized as one of the top three light shows in Kanto, will be held at the Sagamiko Resort Pleasure Forest in Kanagawa Prefecture, near Tokyo. This event will take place from November 16, 2024, to May 11, 2025. Visitors can enjoy the breathtaking view of 6 million lights, the largest scale in Kanto, which attracts many visitors each year. The event features a series of adorable light art displays, including a drone light show and character illuminations. Highlight 1: Adorable San-X Character Illuminations. Visitors can ride the 250-meter-long rainbow slide and enjoy Sanrio character light decorations. The event will also feature a collaborative light show with seven characters, including Rilakkuma, Sumikko Gurashi, and Sentimental Circus. Highlight 2: Dance with Explosive Dog at the San-X Music Main Stage. The venue also includes a San-X exhibition main stage, where visitors can dance along with the main character, Explosive Dog, to the cheerful tunes of Sumikko Gurashi and Rilakkuma theme songs. Highlight 3: A Spectacular Drone Light Show with About 500 Drones. Approximately 500 drones will perform a stunning light show from the 370-meter mountain top, adorably illuminating the dark night sky with Sumikko Gurashi characters. The drone light show will be held exclusively on November 30, December 1, December 7, and December 8, 2024. Make sure to plan your visit on these dates to avoid missing out! The event runs from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with the last entry 30 minutes before closing. It is located at 1634 Wakayagi, Midori-ku, Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Pricing options include: Option 1 - Sagamiko Light Show Admission: Adults 2,000 yen, Children 1,300 yen (free cable car ride after 4 PM); Option 2 - All-Day Pass: Adults 4,500 yen, Children 3,700 yen; Option 3 - Night Pass: Adults 3,000 yen, Children 2,400 yen. Note: From January 7, 2025, the park will be closed every Wednesday and Thursday (except March 12, 2025, when it will be open). From March 14 to April 6, 2025, it will be open daily.
