Kansai, Japan Food Guide!!

Mainly Kyoto/Uji/Osaka/Kobe/Universal food recommendations. Didn't eat in Nara. ❗️Kyoto 1️⃣Hiro Yakiniku: Mid-range, pretty good, you need to grill it yourself, don't turn the heat up too high or it'll burn, need to make a reservation in advance. 2️⃣Daiichi Asahi Ramen: Average, salty, my Chongqing taste buds really can't handle the salt. 3️⃣Fried Beef Steak Kyoto Katsugyu: Delicious, lots of branches, must order the black-haired wagyu, a bit expensive, don't order the matcha beer, it's hard to drink. 4️⃣Ichiban Yakitori: Found it randomly, but it's really good, better than Torikizoku, it's on Hachijo. 5️⃣Musashi Sushi: Good, cheap, fresh. 6️⃣Cafe Pantry Matsunosuke: The banana pancakes are amazing, the apple pie is also good, but you must order one dessert or drink per person. 7️⃣Kurisara Specialty Store: The store is on the Kamo River, the view from the window should be good, but you must order one per person, I heard it's super sweet, most people can't finish it, I just ordered an ice cream to go, it's good. 8️⃣Blue Bottle Coffee: Average, there's one in Shanghai too. 9️⃣There's a cafe at the Kujo subway station that's really good, I forgot the name. ❗️Uji 1️⃣Nakamura Tokichi Byodoin Store: You must go to the second floor, the view is good, there were too many people at the main store so I didn't line up, you must order the ice cream and matcha, it's a bit of a shame I didn't order the parfait. ❗️Kobe 1️⃣Cafe Bar Anthem: The gauze cheesecake is amazing, I still miss it after coming back, you must order one drink per person. 2️⃣Yakiniku Donburi Jyuban: It's like a rice bowl, it's good. 3️⃣Anpanman Museum: Long line, very sweet, cute shape. I didn't eat Kobe beef. ❗️Osaka 1️⃣Torikizoku: Average, the portions are a bit big, but it's also a bit more expensive than other yakitori. 2️⃣Abura Soba: It's okay, better than ramen, the way you eat it is quite unique, cheap, you can try it. 3️⃣Ninomiya Yakiniku: The beef tongue is crispy and fresh, but overall it's not as good as I imagined, and I had to line up for an hour. 4️⃣Yukari Okonomiyaki: Pretty good, of course you have to eat okonomiyaki when you come to Osaka. 5️⃣HARBS: The fruit mille-feuille is amazing, the portions are also big, but you must order one drink per person, I suggest getting it to go, it's worth it, because the price of the drinks is almost the same as the cake. ❗️Universal Studios The pizza set meal next to Jaws is cheap and good, two people can share it. Pineapple ice cream is really made from frozen pineapple, it's okay. Butterbeer tastes like caramel soda, very sweet, very sweet.
