#Sakura2024 After the Japan Meteorological Agency announced that the cherry blossoms had bloomed, I went to see them at the famous Gojo River in Aichi Prefecture, and they were only 50% in bloom. Apparently, the cherry trees here were planted by my grandmother and her relatives when she evacuated during the war. Since hearing that story, I've been going there every year for about 10 years at this time of year. When you walk from Iwakura Station to the Gojo River, there are many food stalls lined up, and you always end up eating more dumplings than flowers.
