Yamaguchi 🇯🇵 Kintai Bridge

One of Japan's three most famous bridges, this five-arch wooden bridge spans the clear Nishiki River. Built in 1673 by Yoshikawa Hiroki, the lord of the Iwakuni domain, the curved bridge is an ingenious and original structure that is flawless even from a modern bridge engineering perspective.
