🍓 Berry Fun at Chura Ichigo Itoman House – Strawberry Picking in Okinawa!

Our trip to Chura Ichigo Itoman House was an unexpectedly joyful highlight during our Okinawa journey! Located in Itoman, this charming strawberry farm is the perfect place for a relaxing and wholesome experience, especially for families and anyone who loves fresh fruit. We came here specifically to pick strawberries—and we were not disappointed. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff, who handed us cute little baskets and explained (in simple English and with gestures) how to pick the strawberries without damaging the plants. The greenhouse was neat, spacious, and filled with rows and rows of beautifully ripened strawberries. The kids were beyond excited, running between the rows and carefully picking the biggest, reddest berries they could find. The strawberries were incredibly sweet and juicy—truly some of the best we’ve ever tasted. We were even allowed to sample as we picked, which added to the fun and made the experience feel more immersive. After our picking session, we rested at a small on-site café area and enjoyed some of their homemade strawberry products. The strawberry soft serve was a must—refreshing, creamy, and rich with real berry flavor. This is more than just a farm—it’s a hands-on, feel-good Okinawan memory that we’ll cherish.
