A silent prayer engraved in my heart at Okinawa Peace Memorial Park

Standing in the spacious park, I felt as if the memories of the war were quietly speaking to me along with the beauty of nature. The Cornerstone of Peace has the names of many people who died in the Battle of Okinawa engraved on it, and when I see each name, I strongly feel that the war is not just history, but an event that touched the lives of each and every person. At the Peace Memorial Museum, I felt my heart tighten as I touched upon the reality of war through photos, videos, and testimonies from that time. Every exhibit was carefully crafted, and the importance of peace was deeply engraved in my heart. It was an irreplaceable experience to have the time to think about peace again in this place where I could see Okinawa's blue sky and beautiful sea.
