Recommended Izu hot spring hotels.

On this trip, I stayed at two different hot spring hotels. One was the Kamenoi Hotel (P7-P15) located on the Izu Plateau. The hotel is new, the lobby is beautiful and photogenic, and the standard rooms are not Japanese-style. The room view is average. The breakfast is buffet-style, and the dinner is kaiseki cuisine, but to be honest, the taste is average. The hotel's lobby bar offers free ice cream, and the restaurant offers late-night ramen. I didn't try it because I was too full. There is an open-air hot spring, but the pool is small and there are many Chinese people. The most healing moment was after soaking in the hot spring, lying on a lounge chair outside the hotel lobby and admiring the moon. I lay there quietly for an hour, watching the moon shuttle through the clouds. I think I will remember this moment for a long time. The other hotel is Atami Onsen Tsutaya (P1-P6). The rooms are standard Japanese-style tatami rooms. Compared to Kamenoi, it is older, but it is still very well maintained. The room has a great sea view. As soon as we entered the room, we started to wow. We could stay in the room all day. The front desk provides beautiful yukatas, and the open-air hot spring pool is also super awesome. There was no one when we went, it was a private bath, and the design was very tasteful. The hot spring pool that needs to be reserved and paid for is not expensive. And! The dinner and breakfast are super awesome, very delicious, Izu specialty alfonsino, abalone, sashimi, raw beef, etc. are all arranged. After eating, I had a cup of coffee in the lobby on the first floor, it was perfect. In this hotel, we really didn't think of taking pictures, because we were just in a daze, it was so comfortable! Both hotels are awesome, but if I recommend it, Atami Onsen Tsutaya is more authentic and more Japanese. I started to miss it as soon as I left. The beauty of Izu really exceeded expectations, and it was a perfect sunny journey. I will come again
